Una session especial para Raizes Yoga. En vez de yoga vamos a tener una presentación por Monica Bravo sobre la aroma terapia, aceites esenciales dōTERRA, y la salud emocional. El 19 de Octubre 2016 a las 7:00PM en Roseland Village Neighborhood Center, 779 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa CA.

Monica Bravo is una guerrillera del bienestar, Yogini, y Madre. Nos dara una presentación en como combatir el agotamiento. Ella ofrece limpias, aroma terapia, y programas de nutrición limpia. Ayuda a padres y profesionales a obtener su energías, perder peso, y encontrar armonía a sus vidas. Ella es copropietario del Wellness Center of Sonoma County.

También es instructora certificada de yoga y pilates. Ella siente que yoga y pilates se complementan y trabajan bien como formas de ejercicio. Su trayecto de Yoga y Pilates empezó después de competir como triatleta y maratoniano. Le da el crédito a Yoga y Pilates para ayudar y fortalecer su cuerpo, y abrir su corazón a todo lo possible.

Bio:
I am a Wellness Warrior, Yogini and MAMA. I’m here to TEACH you how to Break Free from the exhaustion.I offer cleanses, aromatherapy and clean eating programs. I help busy parents and professional get their energy back, lose weight and find harmony in their life! I am the co-owner of the Wellness Center of Sonoma County. Contact me for help defining your goals. We can develop solutions together.

Monica Bravo has been inspiring students and mentoring for over 13 years. She is a Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Trainer and 500 hour Experienced Yoga Alliance Teacher. She feels that yoga and pilates are complimentary and work well with other forms of exercise and sports. She began her Pilates and Yoga journey after years of competing as a triathlete and marathoner. She credits Yoga and Pilates for helping her strengthen her body and open her heart to all things possible. Monica grew up with the understanding that a healthy lifestyle begins with physical movement and teaches the same principle to her two children

This event will be in English and Spanish.

With Parking Lot Poets we offer a space in which our stories express our struggles, our inner conflicts, our talents, our victories and our courage to grow.

MC: Bernice Espinoza received a B.A. in Political Science and Mass Communications and Juris Doctorate from UC Berkeley. She Began writing in the 6th grade with her first published poem at the age of 13 in a children's anthology. She identifies as a poet/advocate/activist and uses her words as therapy, expressions of identify, and to inspire change.

On November 2 & 3, 2016, Raizes Collective honors the Ayotzinapa 43, “los desaparecidos” or “the disappeared” Mexican student teachers through art, poetry, and music at the Roseland Community Center. The event features a temporary art installation of recycled materials built by local artist Martin Zuniga. Local community orgs. and student groups from Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University - Oaxaca Tierra del Sol, North Coast Coalition for Palestine, La Hermandad, Roseland Parent Club, Positive Images, MEChA, Mujeres Xingonas, Undocumented Students Union, MALCS (Mujeres Activas en Letras y Cambio Social), Restorative Resources, NBOP's Latino Student Congress and CALS Alumni Club - will be displaying altars dedicated to the histories of their ancestors and the work they each do to honor their roots and build for the future.
